Life in a Party: A Social Experiment in China

As humans, we often live our lives unconsciously, going through the motions without much thought about our actions and reactions. But what if we took a step back and observed ourselves in a social setting? That's exactly what we did in Guangzhou, China, when we organized a 3-day party to see how people would behave and respond. The party was designed to reflect the three stages of life: the beginning, the halfway point, and the end. We invited a diverse group of people and interviewed them before, during, and after the party. We observed their behavior, their interactions with others, and their overall mood. At the beginning of the party, there was excitement, optimism, and euphoria. People were eager to meet new friends, dance, and have fun. As the party progressed, however, we noticed a shift. Some people became more reserved, tired, or even irritable. Others left early, choosing to go home instead of staying until the end.
