A year that began with hope, but quickly turned into a storm that tore through everything I thought I could hold together my company, my health, my friendships, my love, my money, my sense of control. I set out to document Tanah Airku, to trace the soul of this country from end to end, but what I ended up documenting was my own collapse, my own survival, and the raw truth that sometimes the road takes more than it gives.

Some of the meat is eaten by the family who offered the animal, and some are given to the poor and the needy. Sounds like a fun and noble way to spend a day, right? Well, let's see how it went for Fym. In the morning, before the slaughter, Fym joined the locals for prayer under the clear blue Bali sky and on the football field. Accompanied by Erna , Fym's older friend, they walked to the place where they would sacrifice a cow this year.
