Trippin'Gili is a wild and wacky adventure inspired by Hunter S. Thompson's classic tale of debauchery and excess in Las Vegas. But instead of Sin City, this time we find ourselves on the Gili Islands, with two best friends and a backgammon board in tow.

Inspired from Fear and Loathing in L.A. and H.S. Thompson's story, Lion and AleXander are two good friends looking for their unique best time yet while in Bali, and they are not afraid to indulge in anything but alcohol to make it happen the trip of their life. With a heavy dose of happiness and other substances under their belts, they set out to explore the island and see what kind of trouble they can get into. Their journey begins in Canggu, where the weirdest driver picks them up. It looked like Buffet from a cartoon. On the way they encounter mosquitoes and other visual challenges. Along the way, they encounter strange sights and sounds, and Lion begins to hallucinate. But they are undaunted, and soon set out on their way to the beach of Gili. Welcome to the paradise of getting lost.
Despite the challenges, they make it to the boat that will take them to this island that looks abandoned. On board, they meet some new friends, including Nana, Zara, and Rosy, and the party really gets started. They indulge in medicines, alcohol, and backgammon, and even try to share the extras. But the trip takes a turn when Lion meets Rossana Hogan in another dimension, and falls in love. Though he is distracted by this new romance, he eventually realise that the trip must go on, and they set out on a bigger adventure on the sea. Along the way, they encounter more strange and surreal experiences, until they finally make it back to dry land.
Trippin'Gili is a wild and crazy adventure that will have you laughing, cringing, and scratching your head in wonder. With its psychedelic visuals, hilarious antics, and larger-than-life characters, this is a movie that is not to be missed.
